Bella is a 1964 Chevy C10 Pickup.
With a straight 6 under the hood and rust on the outside of her she really does look like she came from the past.

Bella may not look all that intimidating right now, but once we are finished with her, she will be intimidating, and she will then be a street rod that is ready to drag.
We first built a 325 HP small block and installed it. She purred like a kitten and had some nice power!
Here comes the Gasser look. Boosted up the front and finally have the wheels on.
Dad said it needs more power (Like Tim Allen with the "RRR" grunt). High compression heads and cutting out the extra weight will help! What the heck, lets replace and repair the rusty parts as well.
76cc to 64cc Heads isn't enough... Lets put in a Mutha Thumpr' cam also! Oh, we'll also have a few of the kids from school help modify the heads and assemble the engine. We still hate the pistons in that engine - Maybe in the future?
Lets get that engine in, clean and paint the firewall, ask Mom to help install the headers, and install the new windshield.
Flex loves getting involved so she converted to Disc brakes and installed an aluminum radiator.

Dad loves doing wiring so Bella got an entirely new engine and lighting harness made from scratch.
We got her on the road, and wow a major difference in power... But, we found a leak at the left wheel, took it apart to replace the seals and bearings and found rusty 2.73 gears "WOW"! This truck was seriously powerful... Now lets put in a set of 3.73's and see what she does? We had the guys at school help replace all the bearings and gears in the rear end.
Bella is now extremely snotty!!! Smokes 'em, rolling at 25mph. Now - Feb '22 she's up on stands to be measured for a straight axle.
A couple of the girls cut out the rust holes in the floor and welded in new metal!
I also took the time to show a few students how to cut out rusty door corners and make patches to install.
